This website was originally built from scratch during my college years while I was completing my On-the-Job Training (OJT). At that time, the site had no Content Management System (CMS) in place, so everything was coded manually. Over the years, it became clear that to meet the growing demands of the market and keep up with current web technologies, a transition to WordPress was necessary. This update involved not only moving to WordPress but also ensuring that the code was compatible with PHP8. As of now, we are showcasing only the front-end interface here, but behind the scenes, there's a fully functional admin page that allows the management of all reservation requests. Additionally, the admin panel is capable of sending branded emails to streamline communication and ensure a smooth user experience.
Streamlined Booking: Customers can easily submit reservation requests through an intuitive online form.
Instant Confirmation: Once a reservation is submitted, an automated confirmation email is sent to the customer, ensuring immediate acknowledgment.
Efficient Management: The admin panel automatically captures all reservation details, reducing manual input and improving accuracy.
Custom Email Notifications: Branded emails are automatically generated and sent to both customers and the team, ensuring clear communication and timely follow-ups.
Real-Time Availability: The system syncs with the backend to ensure up-to-date availability, preventing double bookings and scheduling conflicts.
Customer Inquiry: Reservations are initiated through direct customer inquiries via phone, email, in-person or in this case partially guided reservation form.
Manual Data Entry: Staff manually input reservation details at the admin page, such as customer name, contact information, and preferred date/time, into the system.
Availability Check: The staff checks availability manually, ensuring no conflicts or double bookings. This means there is a possibility of commutations back and fourth. Customer needs to keep their lines open.
Confirmation: Once the reservation is processed, staff manually send a confirmation email or call the customer to finalize the booking.
Record Keeping: Reservation details are stored in sync with the automated email database.
